Penang Cafe~ The Bake and Brew Cafe

During my holiday, I had another cafe hopping, but tis time my partners are my frens from my course, SZ, HC and SC. We departed to our first destination for our first brunch of the day at Lebuh Penang~ The Bake and Brew cafe. We went there on Tuesday, which is a working day, hence we faced a big trouble to find parking lot around the cafe and ended up in a parking space near Weld Quay food court which charged us for RM6 for 3 hours =..=

We were pleased by the cozy environment of the cafe when we stepped in. It is easily spotted near the junction of Lebuh Bishop and Lebuh Penang.

They have their menu on board to ease the customers. Chef recommendation was displayed for those who were indecisive on what to eat ( like us haha)
located near the junction of Lebuh Bishop and Lebuh Penang.

since it was still early for lunch so not much people in the cafe that time. I like the decoration of the cafe, simple and nice, spacious and clean. Not much bombastic decoration, simple is just nice.

the look of the cafe from the counter. I love their counter so much it looks so classic

some cookies with their label.

The muffins look so delicious and irresistible.

same goes to the cakes!! We really to wish to have a bite but we had to reserve our tummy for the next round.

With the help of the worker we made our order. They were really helpful enough and they served our food in a short while. We really look forward to have our meal ^^

Peppery Sea Bass with Pasta RM 15.90
We had a lunch set C which comes in a main dishes of choice, a glass of beverage and upgrade with a dessert. We chose a combination of pasta, ice lemon tea and brownie with ice cream.

To me the pasta is really special enough because I never try it before. The pasta was well-cooked, but the fish fillet was not my choice of favorite becoz of the black pepper.

Egg Florentine RM15.90
This is the signature of this cafe. But what distinguish it with egg benedict was the addition of the spinach, and they replaced bacons with salmon so it is healthier. However, the pouched egg was over-cooked and the toast was not crunchy enough. We were quite disappointed becoz we really look forward for it.

me and HC took a picture together before we enjoyed our meal.

Macadamia cheesy sundae RM 15.90
although it was pricey, we love this dessert the most! contain of nuts, a strawberry, caramel and macadamia cheese, a perfect combination for a sundae! Honestly we enjoyed the dessert more than the main dishes in this cafe, in fact macadamia cheesy sundae is the best dessert that we had of the day. Don miss it out if you are a cheese ice cream lover.
Highly recommend to have a try over here

Our dessert in the cafe. Girls always love dessert and we had a second stomach for all kinds of dessert isnt it haha.

Brownie with ice cream RM4.90
brownie is always a no to me becoz of its unbearable sweetness to me, but I enjoyed the dessert that day with the ice cream. Surprisingly I don have sensitive tooth that day and I can happily enjoy it.

the quote of the cafe.
Here I would recommend their dessert more than their main dishes. just a little disappointed to the egg florentine otherwise it is a nice place to hang out with frens.
